2008 Conference Highlights

3rd Pan-American Symposium on Neurovirology PDF Print E-mail
The 3rd Pan-American Symposium on Neurovirology: AIDS, Cancer and Neurodegeneration, was organized by the PASNV and in collaboration with the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico.  This symposium brought together fundamental and clinical scientists from across the United States, Canada and Latin America to examine and discuss the most relevant, cutting edge topics within the field of neurovirology.  The scientific program of the 3rd Pan-American Symposium included: a keynote lecture from a permanent member of the Nobel Prize Foundation, magisterial lectures on virology, AIDS, neurosciences and cancer. The meeting featured outstanding speakers selected through-out the Americas in the fields of virology, AIDS, genetics, neuroscience, and neurology. In addition to the Pan-American symposium, there was an outstanding workshop on “Magisterial Biomedical Lectures for the 21st Century”.
2008 Program
